Our AFL programs
Pups (2-3 years)
Our Pups AFL program is focused around developing your child’s motor and cognitive skills using fun and active games with an AFL touch. Playing is how children learn best!
We encourage social interactions to encourage cooperation and friendships in a positive and fun environment.
All classes are 45 minutes in duration, with a maximum of 10 children per coach.
Kits (3-4 years)
Our Kit’s AFL program continues to progress the teaching of the fundamentals used in AFL – kicking, handballing and marking.
At the age of 3, they are becoming more imaginative during play, so we structure our drills to allow a bit of ‘own thinking’ whilst learning to cooperate in a team environment.
All classes are 45 minutes in duration, with a maximum of 10 children per coach.
Cubs (4-5 years)
Our Cub’s AFL program begins teaching the game - where to run, how to move the ball etc is introduced through fun, active and challenging drills.
At this age children start to really develop their fundamental skills as their understanding of each technique grows.
The last 15 minutes of each class will be a match based game.
All classes are 45 minutes in duration, with a maximum of 10 children per coach.
Reds (5-6 years)
Our Red's program is designed to elevate fundamental footy skills and game knowledge including ball movement and passages of play which will help give children the edge when entering into Auskick and beyond.
The last 20 minutes of each class will be a match based game (2 x 10 minute halves).
All classes are 45 minutes in duration, with a maximum of 12 children per coach.
Silvers (6–7 years)
Building on fundamental footy skills, the Silvers program focuses on game strategy, decision-making, and teamwork. Children will refine their kicking, marking, and handballing techniques while learning structured plays and positional awareness.
Each session includes match-based games to apply skills in a fun, competitive environment, preparing them for the next stage of their footy journey.
All classes are 45 minutes in duration, with a maximum of 12 children per coach.
Swifts (7-8 years)
Our Swifts are ready to fly! As the final stage of the Little Foxes program, this group takes footy skills to the next level, putting kicking, handballing and marking into game-style play. In our Swifts program, coaches help players make more confident decisions on the field, understand positioning and team strategy, and sharpen their technique under pressure. Each session is challenging and fun: drills to refine craft, games to test it, and teamwork to build confidence.
All classes are 45 minutes in duration, with a maximum of 12 children per coach.
